Kristina Baum is successful by any measure. She’s a communications professional whose career has taken her from Florida to the nation’s capital where she’s worked on Capitol Hill and in the White House. Yet, the most inspirational part of Kristina’s journey is that she’s overcome three occurrences of melanoma since 2012, and is now outspoken for cancer patients and survivors as well as an advocate for access to non-FDA-approved drugs. And, if that’s not enough, she’s an avid runner and has participated in several marathons including New York. She will be running in the Chicago Marathon later this year and will also raise money for melanoma awareness and research.
